The goal of this project was to make a candle powered heat engine that could lift 2 quarters 10 cm.

At a glance this seemed like an easy task but there were many difficulties and forces that needed to be overcome.

Making an airtight seal that could easily move was the greatest challenge, but we overcame this through the use of syringes, moldable rubber and silicon-based lubricant.
